
Web Design & Development Coordinator
PreGel AMERICA, the U.S. subsidiary of the global leader in specialty desserts, is seeking a Web Design & Development Coordinator. The Web Design & Development Coordinator would be an integral part of the company's Marketing department primarily responsible for developing and executing the workflow and overall execution of the company's digital strategy including but not limited to the company's branded websites, e-mail communications and search engine optimization and marketing. The candidate would be able to communicate well with non-technical people, present themselves as a thought leader and stay on top of all current technologies. The candidate would need to possess a wide range of skills, including proficiency with hand-coding HTML, the ability to see the big picture while remaining detail-oriented and serve as team player, working with all facets of the company. Please note this is not an IT position and position will report directly to Marketing Manager.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Work closely with the marketing manager to define digital strategy, set goals, deliverables, and develop a schedule and budget
- Produce digital projects (from higher-end websites to novel video ad products to widgets to rich media overlays and banners) specifically for marketing program
- Understands technical and functional Web design requirements
- Assist in physical and logical database design
- Identify system deficiencies and recommends and implements solutions
- Perform and execute regular Web maintenance requests from Web sites as requested from marketing manager (i.e. upload flash components, repair broken links, implement redesigns, etc.)
- Propose, plan and implement upgrades on the company's various websites, social media pages and eNewsletter campaigns to help usability and better target audiences
- Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas, and work closely with vendor partners
- Primarily a front-end web development position with some back-end development
- Writing project plans, architecting site maps and wireframes, developing functional specifications, and executing quality assurance initiatives
- Design, implement and manage online marketing programs focusing on building awareness and customer acquisition, as well as maintaining and enhancing the B2B experience
- Oversee and review pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns and technical online media buys
- Work closely with the marketing manager to define digital strategy, set goals, deliverables, and develop a schedule and budget
- Understand, optimize and expand keyword list
- Manage weekly and monthly reporting and tracking, flagging issues, implement coding schemes for tracking purposes and report metrics appropriately
- Provide in-depth knowledge of principles associated with online marketing
- Analyze and report program performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement and new programs
- Develop and execute highly effective direct response programs to significantly increase inbound lead flow
- Develop and code online ad copy, landing pages, banner creative and other marketing collateral for online use
- Design and maintain dynamic Web and mobile applications
- Stay current in new technologies and platforms, including training and education
- Assist in social media marketing development and execution
- Lead the training and mentoring of production, and creative on digital methodology
- Provide support for other areas of marketing as needed
- Work closely with marketing team to develop and plan effective online campaigns
